Is "No Joke" Stewart really no joke?

I like this card coming up on Showtime this weekend and am really suprised that Mitchell is fighting again this quickly. I've never seen a big time boxer fight again in such a short period of time. His last fight with Ndou was Feb 7th so this fight will be like 8 weeks after his last one.

The line at Olympic is a ripoff at -450 Mitchell and +300 Stewart. But what do you guys think of Stewart? I'm not moving on the Hatton fight but am interested as to what you guys think of the Mitchell vs Stewart fight.

No, he's not a joke at all. He has a chance to win by KO... as he packs some decent power. I made a play on him for +375.

Gil, why do you always take worse numbers

Cotto was +810 at pinnacle yet you was posting about him being +750 at WSEX here and at MW. This time you are taking Stewart at +375 from WSEX when there are better numbers at 5dimes and sportsbook.com.

stewart`s a solid fighter....but this is an enormous step up for him.....probably a step to far...i`ll disagree with gil a bit on stewart`s power....i see him as more of a tough guy that`s fairly busy and wears his opponents down......

not a big puncher,per se...

i will say that mitchell looked poor vs n`dou in his last fight....

it`s a pretty big step up from fighting mid-level and over the hill pugs(ivan robinson and terron millett)in delaware and stepping up to sharmba mitchell......

should be a fight that goes some rounds,though....

Guys, i only have accounts at Olympic, Wsex, and Itops at this time. This has caused me to get in trouble before. Everyone was calling me a shill for Intertops because I only bet there for box office, so I opened an account at wsex to bet box office and then they started with boxing so I bet boxing there also. (before I only used Olympic for boxing) I use to check out pinnacle, but then for the longest time they didn't have odds. And when the did finally put them back up, I would have to use visa to make the closing times and they charge 3% withdrawal so I said forget it. In all honesty, I don't like to have too many books going so I've limited myself to three for now. In May if Pin keeps up with boxing, I might go out of my way and make a wester union deposit. But that means I'd have to get off my couch. lol. For other books who post boxing, if sportsbookreview has given them a bad rating, I won't touch 'em

I hope this clarifies things. I'm old school.

Stewarts only loss was a split decision to Dorin Spivey like 5-7 fights ago. What does that say about him? Has he made a vast improvement since? I have only seen him fight once or twice on ESPN and I wasnt watching it all that closely. But I dont recall seeing anything really special about him.

Spinch, what do you think about Mitchell taking a fight again after 8 weeks?

Thanks Frank... only thing is I make my deposits by credit card as I live out in the sticks and they ask for a photo copy of drive license and credit card... for tax reasons I cannot do that. Those other sites don't ask for picture idea to make withdrawals. But thanks anyway.

I guess I just wanted to make sure I wasnt missing anything.
